Special Requirements
A prerequisite for the course is a Toprope certificate or solid belaying skills in Toprope using an assisted braking device (e.g., Jul2), as well as confident climbing at grade 5 (UIAA). After completing a Toprope course, the learned skills should be practiced and reinforced for a few weeks before attending the lead climbing course.
